Hi! I’m Lucy

BPS Chartered and HCPC Registered Sport & Exercise Psychologist

I provide sport psychology for all sports, all ages and all levels (recreational to elite/professional).

I am based in the North West of England but work across the country and I am available for face-to-face or online consultations.

I enjoy seeing people achieve their goals and enjoying what they do, whilst also developing as a person as well as an athlete/player.

“Lucy has supported our England U17 Men’s Water Polo squad over the last 12 months in what can only be described as difficult unprecedented times. In normal times, her work would have been conducted in person, however, due to Covid she has led sessions of 22 young athletes, on Zoom.

“Lucy made it really easy for me to talk to her about what was worrying me and why, from the very 1st session. She made things really easy, helping me to talk through my experiences and she wrote things down for me to complete at home, to help me remember what I needed to do.

When going into matches, I would have a plan in my head of what I was going to do and what my job in the team was. I would write a positive word on my wrist band and look at it if something didn’t go right to help me re-focus on what I wanted to do.

This helped me feel much more confident to still try new things, even though it might not have worked the first time as I was able to re-focus on what I wanted to do instead of focusing on what had happened.”
